My life in Germany During and After WWII

At the Tuesday,  March 20, 2018, Green Township Historical Association meeting, Manfred Schnetzer, who grew up in Germany during World War II, will discuss his experiences during and after the war. He was nine years old when the war ended. He came to America in 1952 and has been a long time resident of the White Oak area in Green Township. The meeting is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to come and hear his fascinating story.

2018 Dues Time!

It's time to renew your dues for 2018.  Dues are again $10 per person for the calendar year.  Simply send your dues to the address on the form, or pay them at the March meeting.  For those receiving the email newsletter, an electronic version of the dues form is being sent with the email newsletter.  Your continued support for our Association makes our organization work well.

***In case of bad winter weather***
In the event of severe winter weather the day of the meeting, don't risk an accident or a fall by coming to the meeting.  Please be safe!  In the event of inclement weather, we will decide to cancel the meeting by 2 pm on the day of the meeting.  You can check for a cancellation by one of three ways:

1.  Check our website after 2 pm the day of the meeting.
2.  Contact Paul Ruffing at 574-9909 after 2 pm the day of the meeting.
3.  Call Nathanael Greene Lodge at 598-3100 after 2 pm the day of the meeting.

New Books added!!!
We are excited to announce that the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County has digitized and posted for free two early works detailing Green Township life in the 1800's.  I was Interested, by Charles Schaible, and The Pioneer Annals of Greene Township by Reese P. Kendall are both able to be viewed on the library's website.  Please click on the "Twp Books" tab from the menu bar at the top of the page for a brief description and a link to the library's "Digital Library."
